We had a great time last weekend in Broadmayne and at Athelhampton House. Thank you to those who came to our concert in Broadmayne on Saturday. You were a great audience and thanks to your generosity we been able to pass a sum in excess of £150 to the church.
There are shawms, sackbut, cornetto, curtal, recorders, viols, gemshorns, bells and slide-trumpet to be heard at our concert on Saturday 23rd November at Broadmayne Village Hall. Alongside this feast of Tudor seasonal music you can also enjoy some Tudor refreshments.
Courtlye Musick have been baking mince pies, plum tart, marchpane and figgy pudding from original Tudor recipes. Concert interval refreshments with a difference!
We are also to be seen at the Dorset Food and Drink Christmas Fair at Athelhampton House, Puddletown on Sunday 24th November between 10am and 2pm.
